Re: Charity Day

no offence brian but kim would be better off coming up the slip road on the left and go into cambridge to the layby you dont have to stop at the top of the roundabout cos its a strait run type road i.e you dont stop at the top,and the layby is 1/4 mile from the roundabout its a bit tricky waiting on a roundabout, unless you go around said r/about and meet on the waist ground outside the church on the way to swineflu burwell o fuck it someone decide my brain hurts forget what ive just ritten, see ye on the roundabout sat at 12.30 -12.45

Re: Charity Day

Seeing as how the A14 / A1 route is obviously very complicated i'm gonna make my own way across the fens via Ramsey 40 foot (that's assuming i can get there, i'm still working on it).

I'll say congratulations to Foby & Irene now just in case I can't be there to say it in person.

Hopefully see you all Saturday.

What the fuck are you on about Eric!, The pavement all around that interchange is about 20 foot wide, plenty of room to get the whole club up there if need be. I'll sit on the top looking down on the A14, Kim and anyone else will see me at the top as they approach the slip road. Then all they have to do is ride all the way around the top until they reach where I am. Then up the kurb and pull up behind me and sit there until you arrive. Simple as that....or is it

OR I have another plan if that's too complicated.

Brian.

Re: Charity Day

My other plan is...and you don't have to agree with it, if they carry on along the A14 until they get to the Cambridge Crematorium, then pull in to the layby there, which is on their route, and well sign posted.

On Saturday morning, I will be at my daughters new house in Willingham. I've had so many bollickings from her because I haven't been to see it yet. Life is getting dangerous for me unless I go and see it. I'm getting GBH of the ear 'ole from all my family.

The Crematorium layby is over that way more than Quy roundabout is. It's no sweat for me to head back over to Quy if that's where people want to meet.

I'd rather lead them through our useless Cambridgeshire road system than they ride along not knowing if they're going in the right direction or not.

Brian.

Re: Charity Day

Why don't you just meet at Cambridge services on the A14 as it is on the way, piss easy to find and has loads of parking.

If you finally decide on somewhere I might even let you have the pleasure of my company for the journey there.
