A1 more scenic? You mean the M6 is scenic?

Dunno, mate, but I know I dislike the M6 route to anywhere intensely, even more than a trip around the M25.

Give P a shout, see what time he's intending to come up. Could be that we'll have a nice little bunch.

yes mate a1 m62 though bradford a65 all the way just 110 miles from retford

Meeting at 10am at Duxford Aerodrome Garage off Junction 10 of M11. Left off slip road, Texaco garage about 300 yards up on RH side, opposite the IWM.

Then up to Blythe services at Retford to meet Ken at midday, before a bimble up to the Lakes.
