Sunny Hunny Kite Festival

Yet another cracking weekend - well, Saturday night (apparently) and Sunday.

The no-show of the band at the pub failed to dampen our spirits, and visitors from oop north (ok, Lincs) in the form of Ken & Mile High (shouldn't that be Knee High?), and way darn suff - P, Wormy & our latest adoptee, Ulysses, added to the numbers.

Lots of new and newish faces swelled the ranks, and I believe we had 24+ bikes on the stand.

There are, however, a number of reasons to be concerned.

Chris CANNOT fly. Even over lowish fences.

Kim's finally woken up to the fact he's the owner of a deeply, irretrevably orange Harley.

Ken can't drink rum and remain awake.

Brian's finally succeeded in erecting his tent in (just) under two hours.

Tea's now being introduced to new members as Tik Tok's other half. We have to nip this in the bud, don't we, Mr Tik Tok?

Lastly, Foby's now believing his own publicity, and called himself, on BBC Norfolk radio (better known as the voice of sanity or sometimes the vice of senility)

"The El Presedente of the Anglia Region 15 Harley Davidson Riders Club of Great Britain"

So there!!!!!!!

For myself, I just need to apologise for anything I may have done, not done, touched or not touched, and said or left unsaid on Saturday night. The few things I've been reminded about already lend much credence to the size of my intelligence, but even more to my complete lack of tolerance to alcohol and other less legal pharmaceutical produts.

Talking Re: Sunny Hunny Kite Festival

Great day out for Lesley and I, we both felt very welcom and look forward to the next time we all meet up.

One thing though. Why did we not have play time on the bouncy castle?

I am disappointed in you Baff. Thought you would have been the first in there.

And fancy calling my bike SHIT. I will try harder next time to make it nearly as blingy as Mr B's. (Great to meet you Mr B)

Well done George on winning BEST BIKE.

Well until next time

BE Safe

Steve and Lesley

Good to meet you too. If you'd have arrived on Saturday, you would been treated to the sight of 14 Anglia members bouncing on the pre-test inflation. Unfortunately, due either to the number of cigerettes in hand, or excess weight, the first castle was deemed unsafe and a more modest castle inflated on the Sunday.

During said test, I injured my bowling wrist, thus giving Eric an unfair advantage during our bowls match. I'm not going to whittle on, or whinge about it though, as Eric won fair & square - The Bastard.

I don't want your job Foby, and never have. This weekend just goes to show that things can, and sometimes go wrong and not always to plan.
Us ordinary memebers don't seem to realise what goes on behind the scenes and we just turn up after everything has already been organised by someone else.

Otherwise a great weekend. The funniest things that spring to mind both involved Clan Ken....he certainly has a way with words when speaking to strangers.....remember the Kebab shop and the Wing riders Ken

Thanks everyone for a great time, see you all again at either Wimbotsham or Skylark.

Brian.

Re: Sunny Hunny Kite Festival

Baff the days of the week go in order ending on Friday
Then the weekend
We arrived on Saturday at Hunstanton, what you did on Friday night had nothing to do with us, so when appoligising I think you need to go on a different site.

Foby well orgainsed Event yet again,
Brian we all try to orgainse things that don't always go to plan (I know it happened to me in France ) so don't take it to heart.

Eric is the King of the Pin cause Baff don't know which way the ball should be thrown.

Tammy, the girlfriend of Steve (otherwise known as SHHTEEVE) knows how to put Ken in order even if she hasn't learnt how to dance with him without injuries being caused.

Tealess is just a bully picking on poor old wanna be Harley riders who dont know the difference between a Harley and a Goldwing got confused when going out to buy the bike (clue is in the name of the maker) told them if they can't buy the right make then to park elsewhere (with the other non harley bikes who had better manners)

Well done to George for winning the Trophy very much deserved,

Wormy is a great star for organising us for the next party in 4 days time

Looking forward to seeing you all to do it all again

Flossy ..... married to the Assistant rep who is known to be the husband of Tic Tok
