The "Not the Anniversary Rally" Thread

A few observations from Walesby:

The only way Foby can be the last one awake is if he's the 'nominated first-aider.'

Even with 14 hours beauty sleep, Tealess finds it still isn't working. Ah, bless.

Wormy & P are the bestest hosts - ready to put their food, drink, gas & caravan to the cause of inter-regional harmony. A fantastic way to start the weekend.

Eric's steaks are best, 'nuff said.

Tik Tok's organisational skills came to the fore: Chinese take-away ordered, delivered & paid for before anyone else had even given a meal a second thought. Aided only by the Assistant Rep's Assistant's Assistant, Tami(flu), the whole business was accomplished with the minimum of fuss.
Of course, this was in addition to the breakfast offered to everyone for little or no cost.

Nothing escapes Nick's beady eyes, not even a new speedo for my ferry-damaged item. And this for only £20. WTG Nick

Tony does know some directions. He got us all the way from the rally to Matclock, and back, about 70 miles of nick twisties and hills & valleys and the like. 'S funny, cos normally, at home around Cambridge, he can't go 10 miles without getting lost.

Lots more observations to come, but as of yet they're to far back in my memory.

Thanks to all who went - once again partying with our mob & our friends was a major part of a weekend away.

Baff

Re: The "Not the Anniversary Rally" Thread

A good time for me n Maureen and nice to meet some outta the region from this here site. Had a great ride home this morning until last 20 miles or so when BANG, bee straight into my inner top lip - pulled over, removed sting which was still in. Saved a fortune in collagen but hopefully will go down overnight. Well done to all involved at 60th, shame about the caterers. BUT with dial-a-chinky on hand, i had no complaints. Looking forward to the 61st.

Even with 14 hours beauty sleep, Tealess finds it still isn't working. Ah, bless. T needs 12 hours sleep twice a day to resembe "beauty",and then only in the eye of certain beholders.

Wormy & P are the bestest hosts - ready to put their food, drink, gas & caravan to the cause of inter-regional harmony. A fantastic way to start the weekend. Yes indeed!

Eric's steaks are best, 'nuff said. Erics "cigarettes" are even better

Of course, this was in addition to the breakfast offered to everyone for little or no cost. Brilliantly organised and executed. Thanks ladies!
