Re: Essex Poker Run Rally 11-13th September

dear foby,
yes i understand that people are different and like doing different things , for me being in a riders club means getting out and about going to rallies(while im still youngish) and socialising with the good people ive met in area 15 and beyond, i get more enjoyment in the run to the rally/meeting than anything, specially when their is a good amount of bikes,

yes anglia region is a large area and im in the middleish,the best of two worlds if ya like,im sure for most of the members of your side of the region the meeting is a mere stones throw and thats the same for the other side (no im not starting a central-anglia meet),club meetings are very important for people specially the non pc people o and the car brigade,as this club for me is a online club that i subscribed too their should be nothing thats said in a meeting that i wont find out about online i,e shows,rallies,rideouts.....and personally i dont give a toss if their is a us and them, and for the record im nether us or them.and as a newbie and an outsider all in one i must say i have enjoyed each and everyones company and have been made very welcome into this club,

by the way this region should be holding its own rally for god sake, if nasby,essex etc can pull it off why cant anglia ,just learn from them
ill leave it in your capable hands

[quote=tealess;712327]Another Fantastic weekend,

At the weekend we talked about doing one last Attleborough weekend,
We would like to see as many people there as possible in cars/caravans, bikes, what ever camp or b&b it doesn't matter so long as we get there for one last party night.

Might be a bit short notice now but I was thinking the weekend of 3rd/4th October would be good as we could tie it in with a visit to the Copdock Bike show in Ipswich on the Sunday.

Just a thought.

putting on events takes a bit more planning and commitment than meeting up in a car park to go to someone else party, get off your face and then go home -

Yup. That's why, if Anglia decided to hold a rally rather than a camping weekend, which is what we're talking about here, we'd meet in a transport cafe rather than a car park. Warmer, more food, a possible place to kip overnight, THEN off home.

Alternatively, now Knee High's riding with us quite a bit, we could ask the Grumpy Old Bastards to run it for us.

Thanks for that snippet of common sense monster i agree entirely,some seem to have forgotten the sheer bloddy hard work that has been done in the past few years to make this region as big and active as it is.The Reps and assistants spend many hours of their free time in contact with various outside agencies organising events where the club gets to show the bikes and we all get a free camping and entertainment weekend.I get the feeling from some of the recent posts that some people seem to have an agenda.

Tealess and I know how much hard work is done by Foby and other Irene into running this region,

None of us would do anything with out putting it forward in a demorcratic way, that is why the Anglia region is such a large group.

Monster if there is anything else you want to input into our region we suggest you move you can join the Anglia 15 region, and you too can have your say, but as you are not part of our region then I cant really say that your posts hold much thread with me.
