Hi All
Only just read this thread. Trying to make some sense of it. Regards an Anglia party bike event whatever you want to call it.
Several years ago this was discussed at a meeting. The reason I was against it personally were as follows.
1) Money. As already mentioned.
2) Personal time you have to commite.
3) To many events already exist that do not attract enough guests to make them viable
At the time we proposed all events would benefit more with our attendance.
Next year I will be promoting an international bike show at the Skylark. Our club will have it for nothing. Same as the Country show. The only down side is the public will have access during the day. That's how it pays for its self. If u do not want to display your bike and camp outside the public area it would cost about £30 per person for the weekend.
I am meeting Paul in a couple of weeks to finalise things. This will be open to all types of bikes and selected clubs. A bit like the Thetford show but over three days. I welcome helpful comments.
