Re: BMF Tickets

The members that gave me their names at Fridays meet who wanted to go got the tickets
It was unfortunate that so few were available at the very last minute but we have to be fair to other regions as it is the H-DRCGB National Club stand and not Anglia's

Re: BMF Tickets

In past years BMF tickets came via the Rep at least a couple of weeks in advance but unfortunately this year at the time of the meeting no one knew if any tickets would be available and when.Members names were taken at the meeting in case tickets were available,at that time no one knew, and it was too late in the day to organise any other system.FFS no one wanted to go in May and some quite rude and offensive posts were put on here about how awful the BMF was.

Can't remember crude or offensive posts, nor can I be bothered to go look for any (so please don't bother finding them for me).

But I'm in agreement that as we got these tickets at short notice, and with few other ways to dispense them before the event, that giving them away at the meeting was as good a way as any.

The last Tail Ender was only good because we went, camped & partied as a group. The event itself was crap. I can't see why anyone is beating themself up because they didn't get, or weren't offered, a ticket.

BMF 'Rallies' at Peterborough are dinosaurs that ought to have died out before the BMF hived the running of the events off to a commercial organisation.

Better by far this weekend is the 'T Centrum rally, a quick ferry ride over the water from Harwich.

All the above are simply my opinions, which are as valid, less valid and more valid than everyone else's.
