Yup, only £40 return per bike. I think that's an amazingly good price. I'll post these details onto the first post too.
Btw, I'm happy to pass on the details of this offer to club members from other regions if they're going over too, and you're welcome to ride over with us if you'd like, or not if you don't want to.

Of course, that does depend on how much of a blat our pet Oirish guy intends to make it.

Baff, Big Steve and the lads from the ECHC usually go to this rally and they are GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGREAT company to ride with and to party with.
Its still a bit early for some of us to decide yet and most of us need to buy new rain gear --- cos it invariably pisses down or is about to piss down sometime on that weekend. Thats what makes that superior colour - GREEN.

Re: Federation Rally in Ireland - July 3rd -6th

Looks like the ferry time will be:

Dep. Pembroke 14:30, Arrive Rosslare 18.15.

Coming back's a bit of a pig tho:

Dep. Rosslare 08:45 or 21:00, arriving back in Pembroke at 12:30 & 00:45.

Gonna need to have a discussion about the return trip.

Re: Federation Rally in Ireland - July 3rd -6th

If it's any help Baff I suggest coming back on the Monday as we do, stay Sunday night in a B&B in Rosslare and spend the evening in the local pub - there are plenty of B&Bs opposite Pubs in Ireland mind you B&Bs in Ireland are not that cheap nowadays.
It's then only a 5 minute ride down to the ferry in the morning after having a leisurely brekkie.

Wish you'd mentioned that in a PM to me earlier, then it coulda looked liked I was a clever bugger with a plan.

Re: Federation Rally in Ireland - July 3rd -6th

There is a Stena Line ferry back to Fishguard on the Sunday at 21:15 ish. The Stena Line ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare also leaves at 14:30 ish on the Thursday however I don't think they will give as good terms as the Irish Ferries.

Nah, I think your - MY - plan of kipping over to catch the early morning ferry works.

So now the trip's Thursday 1st to Monday 5th.
