CANCELLED "Out in the Suffolk Sticks" weekender

CANCELLED CANCELLED CANCELLED CANCELLED CANCELLED CANCELLED CANCELLED

The pub have come back to me wanting to charge more for camping, have just one band, and not supply breakfasts.
This is after we agreed all the details at a face-to-face meeting.

June 8th - 10th

The "Out in the Suffolk Sticks" weekender. Plenty of interest shown, so I'm confirming this is ON.

The pub's way out in rural Suffolkshire, down tiny, winding country lanes. This is open to all regions.

The White Horse, Edwardstone, Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 5PX. Map link
Camping for up to 100 tents.
Room for a couple of caravans
2 cottages available for anyone too incapacitated to camp.

Details
Camping/caravan £5 for the weekend
Each cottage sleeps up to 4, £100 per night per cottage.
Food: main courses £9-£13. Brekkie prices to be confirmed. She's happy enough for us to arrange our own (off ground) BBQs.
2 showers, 2 toilets, plus the facilities in the cottages if anyone books them
Music; Band Friday night, band Saturday night. Possibly disco Sat too. Music finishes at 11pm though.
Beers: Lots of real ales (some brewed onsite in their own brewery -Mill Green) & if we request a particular ale, they'll do their best to have it on tap + lagers & Guinness. Prices £2.60-£3.30.
Ciders: Castlings Health Organic Original & Apple Pie.
They hold 4 beer festivals each year, and have a good rep.
Covered smoking area.
Plenty of room both inside & outside the pub.

Apparently there's CAMRA discounts if you produce a membership card.

Close to Lavenham, probably the prettiest village in eastern England, and I could always organise the 3rd Baff's Magical Mystery Tour if demand is high enough.

Quite a few positive responses already, so looks like there'll be enough of us to put this on. Probably have to charge a £5 a person to cover the cost of the bands. Payable when you arrive.

I'm off so if all goes well on getting back from Bute we would be interested for obvious reasons.

PS: You could start saving for fuel now Baff.
