Hello everybody.
My name is Federico, italian biker from Milan, and I currently own a customized Moto Guzzi Bellagio (see signature).
I am working in the bike industry and I would like to establish a pre-owned only HD store in Milan.
For currency and market reasons, buying HD in UK is convenient for italians.
So what I am kindly asking is to get suggestion on where to address my research on large quantities (20-25 per time) pre-owned bike to export form UK to Italy.

I think only because the Euro is so strong against our pound that everyone in the bike business in mainland Europe are coming over here and buying up our used Harleys.

So I suggest you find all the main dealers from a H-D search on their site and ask away at the dealerships.

We are not going to encourage people to come over here and push the prices up on our second hand market are we?

At an exchange rate of 2 California = 1 Harley, we could maybe strike a deal....

There is already a shortage of used Harleys in the UK, and all dealers are contacting known owners for used bikes to trade. I think you will find it extremely difficult to source used bikes in the quantities you describe, unless you start picking up everything that's for sale on eBay...

Hey Federico, you may be too late plenty of other Europeans, particularly teh Germans are buying almost every secondhand machine. Try Riders of Bridgewater... usually have large s/h stocks

If every budding entrepreneur around Europe took up this idea we would have no second-hand Harleys or other bikes at all. I don't think we should be encouraging Federico! There are, apparently, many foreign dealers already stripping our stock, without us telling them where to find it.
