Birthday request

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Simon (Longrider) who made my mum's wish come true last night. No not that!!! The perfect present and Simon the perfect gentleman. She is still buzzing. Thank you so much. Dave, Lesley and family.

A few more details would be good ie Mum's health fitness for riding pillion suitable clothing, dates and time. email address etc.

If anyone decides to do this then this document is a good idea for getting signed. It's not an official HDRCGB one but one I have used over the years.

Agreement of indemnity

This agreement is entered into by

Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms....………….. Wishes to ride pillion on said motorcycle as part of his/her raffle prize/ birthday/ whatever celebrations on …………………….

It is hereby agreed as follows


1.

1.1 Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms ………………………… shall provide Mr/Mrs......……….. with a pillion ride on said motorcycle free of charge in celebration of his birthday/or Whatever.

1.2 Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms …………………… shall ride said motorcycle with reasonable care and attention to the best of his judgement and experience.

Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms.………………..shall hold a current insurance policy covering damages to third parties as required by law.

1.4 Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms …………………. shall indemnify and hold harmless
Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms ………………….should he suffer any damage to property or personal injury, including injuries resulting in death, as a consequence of any accident, collision or other mishap that may occur during or consequent upon said motorcycle ride.

Thanks for your quick reply. My mum is very fit for her age. She would have no problem riding pillion at all. We can fit her out with leather bike trousers and boots, however we don't have a helmet or jacket, would that be a problem. Not sure of exact date but would be around 27th August. The weekend of 28th-31st Audust is our International Rally weekend so our riders in and around Yorkshire may be a bit thin on the ground.

Anyway hopefully someone will come forward.

Helmet and jacket loan should not be a problem.

I put a request for late August but we would accept any time after that date as we could make it a seperate birthday treat. Please can anyone help.
