Sunday discussion?

Given that cars / bikes often travel at (or over) the usual country road speed limit of 60 - in your opinion

a) should cyclists be banned from roads with a certain speed limit
b) should cyclists be insured to travel on the roads

Ta

I dont like the idea of banning any group of road users it could be the thin edge of the wedge,it could us next
As for insurance, well if your in an accident with a cyclist and its there fault and your pride and joy is written off your not going to be happy,if they have no insurance ,i would like to see cyclist with some sort of cover and maybe horse riders as well ,if only so they can cover the cost of accidents, the other big one when it comes to c\yclists is if when they brake the law whilst riding and they got points on their liceneces i think you might see a few more cyclists taking a bit of care and not just sticking their arm out and turning without looking.
Rant over and no i'am sure crazy cyclists are a minority like idiots on bikes

They should be insured, taxed and forced to obey ALL the rules (ie. a red light does NOT mean just ride through it on the pavement)! If they want equal rights, make them equally accountable.
