Re: H-D models discontinued for 2014

The only one I would have bought brand new the discontinued a couple of years ago, they seem to have so many derivatives I honestly get confused what is what.

If I had the money I would have bought a Crossbones for sure, that bike looked really nice, but I suppose the price killed it off.

The only model I would have bought new was discontinued a while back, but then again I never really thought those overhead valves things would catch on!

Wasnt that the replacement for the Crossbones?.

I really dont know why they got rid of the Crossbones, that and the V Rod are the two that as a young rider ( compaired to most HD riders ) really stick out from the seemingly same looking bikes with loads of different letters in their title bikes.

Harley are very good at dropping models that are a step away from the core business models. Same with the XR1200X. An excellent bike but "different" in many ways to the normal sportster.

Some of the models are available in some counties, just not globally. You can still buy an XR in Brazil and, I understand, Qatar.
