Re: Whats your excuse??

Retired like my older mate Baza, left arm now in plaster after my off last friday going to Mallory Park and i'm frigging bored already.
I reckon if it heals as well as it's going at the moment i'll be able to to pull in the clutch lever soon, and i'll be back on the road, but not on me Harley, that needs some fixing.

Re: Whats your excuse??

Half a day off work to get the sporster through the mot ready for the weekend.

failed first time on a few sillies, loose spindle nut and rear brake pedal.

Got back home and fixed those so its a quick ride back for the certificate.

BUT I have found that they have taken a couple of nasty bits out of the front mudguard paint! Bastards!! And they have tried to hide the worst bit by going over it with black felt tip pen.

We shall have words.

I will report in before lunchtime.

Andrew

Always monitor this site just in case one of you threatens to spend some money so I can become so rich I don't have to work

Re: Whats your excuse??

Sorry to hear about the arm, Chilly.

My excuse is I am off till this afternoon to get the sporster mot for this weekend.

Failed at first attempt due to a couple of sillies. Fixed those and am just about to take it back for a retest.

However, the barstewards have taken a couple of graunches out of the front mudguard. And tried to cover them with black felt tip pen!!

I shall see what they have to say about it.

Re: Whats your excuse??

Bridlad ! its a long story but ........

I was on a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air. Up ahead in the distance, I saw shimmering light........

So I called up Baza,
'Please put me online
He said, have you had that bald patch there since nineteen sixty nine' LOL,
We are all just prisoners here, of our own device'
I have an always on broadband connection

Last thing I remember, I had to find the back button to the website I was before
'Relax,' said Baza LOL ,
'We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like, But you can never leave!'

thats my excuse an i'm sticking to it
