... Are these sentances a bit harsh? Don't get me wrong, i think it's sick, irresponsable and incites, but i remember the BNP walking the streets with banners "kill a Paki" etc, i can't remember them getting such harsh sentances. I mean, 'sticks and stones' and all that, they haven't actually killed or physically harmed anyone, just carried banners. I reiterate, some punishment is due but, there seems to be some inequality here. What do you think?

Website designer Mizanur Rahman, 24, of Palmers Green; British Telecoms IT technician Umran Javed, 27, from Birmingham; and Abdul Muhid, 24, of Whitechapel were each jailed for six years for soliciting to murder after urging the crowd or carrying placards with threats, including “Bomb Bomb UK”; “Be prepared for the real holocaust”; “Osama is on his way”; and referring to British soldiers in Iraq: “We want to see their blood running in the streets of Baghdad and them coming home in body bags.”

Not harsh enough. Now I am not condoning what the bnp done/do but they did not call for anyone to be murdered/maimed, which is what these people are doing, also, if they dislike Britain/England, enough to carry these placards and go on protests, why do they live here?
