| 125 cubic inch Kawasaki cruiser ....with pushrods...
Where will this Jap cruiser crap stop? Like, 25 years after this sector started, they NOW bring in pushrods??? And it is part water-cooled, part air-cooled.... Is there really a market for these? http://kawasaki.com/Products/detail.aspx?id=159 *rolls eyes* |

I might be on my own here but I quite like some of the "Metric" cruisers. Most of the riders are very like us just with slightly different tastes. I don't think I would ever own one as I like the "rough edge" of the HD engine but each to their own ![]() Andy

I think the market is once again aimed at the wannabee's. I wanna Harley but I don't want to annoy the partner or neighbours I wanna Harley but I don't want to get my hands dirty I wanna Harley, if I get this, no-one i know will know the difference I wanna Harley, but look at the price of the aftermarket bits - with this I get a bike, all the bits for the price of a Sportster with change

the price in the States for the Vulcan is $15,000 compared to a Road King for $17,500. Thats a difference of $2500 or £1250. You really would have to be a nut job to get the Vulcan ,beam me up Scotty

| Re: 125 cubic inch Kawasaki cruiser ....with pushrods... There is a market for this type of ride. Harley dominates the heavyweight cruiser sector both in the States and around the world. Not everyone wants a Harley for that very reason. A Jap cruiser offers an alternative and should be welcomed. It's not to my personal taste though. Too Harleyesque. The Japs do their best work when they come up with something original like the Kawa Z900 Ltd of the 1970s, the V-Max or even the Honda 750 Magna, rather than just copying HD. The very best reason for their existence is that they will stop the HD senior management from getting too complacent. |

An xs 650 was a good bike but it was never a Bonny and i'am sure this Kawalski thing be good but it will proberbly lack that indiscribable something that Harleys have, well aircooled Harleys have anyway
