I just been out on my 76' 2 stroke missile, RD400C Yamaha, i restored the old gal in hope of recapturing my youth as i had the same model when i was 18, well i just been out on it 1st time in 6 months and i fair near sh!t meself, i forget how quick it is after riding the H-D , it goes like fu*k ! i may have to sell it b4 i kill myself how i lived through my teenage years il never know

Dont forget a green MA1, white Simpson and a pair of Bleachers

well i do have a nos 1975 Bell helmet in my collection you must be from a later era cos there were no simpson helmets around in the mid 70's

i might be missing something but it looks very similar to the little 125 i passed my cbt on!!
now if you want a quick first bike, this was mine. i did my lessons and passed my test on it. had to go as it was just too easy to do 160mph!

hey dont under estimate these rd's , anyone that owned one will tell you they were the fastest thing off the mark in the 70's, theyd p!ss allova anythig up to 750cc, they lift on power in 1st gear, change to 2nd and itl bounce back up again, 105-110 top speed but you knew you were doing it! they still use em in old skool road racing, remember were taliking about a 1970's 400cc 2 stroke here, not a 90's 4stroke yeah?

Try a Fireblade or R1 they are fast.
