 Shite weather we're having
Hi people, just thought that i would add my comments for the peoples lives that have been devastated by the flooding. Without people thinking i am being condescending, i offer my heartfelt and sincere sympathy to any of you that have been affected. I hope that the waters receed very quickly, and that as little permanent damage has been done, and the insurance companies pay out quickly to restore your life back to some normality. Although we are ok as on a hill, i remember both my parents and my in laws parents houses being flooded in the floods of the early 80s. I know what heartbreak and devastation that they can bring. I DO hope that government legislation will stop all these builders building houses on the flood plains just to make quick money. This is one of the reasons why so many people are being affected now. Water will find its natural level, if we continue to build on these areas, will only get worse. Really am hoping for a long prolonged dry spell to help dry the country out. Anyway all the best.
