| Keaney RTA update
Holy sh1t I can’t believe the last four weeks of my life, one minute I’m enjoying the rumble of my FXSTI in the sunshine, then horror, I look up and I’m in the flight path of a Vauxhall Omega! I don’t remember much of the following two days; however my loving wife Pippa enlightened me last night as the trauma I put my friends and family through. I for one have never been a fan of hospitals or the NHS, until now that is. Without their dedication I would not be sitting in my chair at home with an “x-fix” on my shattered right leg, waiting for the knee construction in the coming months. I would like to thank all the forum members for the support and very kind comments that where left for me and my wife in this trying time. I am a strong believer of these things happen for a reason, although i'm ferked if I know why me? Must have been my turn or something like that. ![]() The bike looks to be a write off which somewhat decides whether I will be riding again for some time or not. There are photos of it with a friend for the future (when I ask to see them). Although the photo of my leg in the A&E is bad enough and the Tibia X-rays are a work of art on there own without seeing the mess I made of a £10k bike. I will update everyone, when I have any more news, in the meantime it looks like I am going to be a forum stalker for the foreseeable future. Enjoy the weather guys and stay upright, this sh1t hurts |

Glad to hear you're home mate and in strong or at least philosophical spirits! Keep on mending fast. Fingers crossed for a short wait on the knee reconstruction. Cheers Mike

| Re: Keaney RTA update Great to hear from you. It is usually said that bikes are replaceable, but people aren't, and it was never more true than in this case. Ever thought about changing your nickname to HOUDINI? ![]() Number one priority is to get well again and you have my sincere best wishes in your mission. ![]() Take Care Bud! Pete |
