Hey Chris, that is a great link. Nicely written with loads of photos. I'm still amazed at how wide and straight many US roads are - that explains so much of why HDs have poor ground clearance, as their biggest market doesn't care!

I have ridden in France in 100 degree heat, so I can imagine how they looked forward to those air-conditioned bars. Dreams of long trips like that are enough to fight the winter blues.
