A celibrataion of a great guys achievement.
Remember it was over 50 yrs ago.
God knows what the gear they used was like compared to today.
Also the fact he helped the Napal people greatly following his achievement.

He had a huge social conscience. Spent years raising money for schools and hospitals for the native Sherpas.

A very sad day for New Zealand and New Zealanders.
