Managed to get a picture in my "Avita" of my xmas pressie from er in doors, but could not get a big one put on,,(bloody stupid computers,).
Does anybody recognise it, came from the Midlands area ?
I know very little about Harleys or most bikes in fact, it is in having a full service and a new back tyre and an mot, although that is not due for a few weeks. Any pointers as to how to nurcher this old girl along ??
Thanks.

Re: My Bike.

Squinting like a b@stard I reckon its a Heritage Softail,
apart from that I'm clueless.
Year? No idea.

Best bet, Evo or TC, is to change the oils regular,
apart from that make sure the tyres are up to pressure
and that the road is clear before you overtake!

Enjoy the rush

Re: My Bike.

Congrats on the new bike....a Harley is a blank canvas, yu have years now to make it your own, service, her regularly as has been said, regular oil/filter change (forget the manual - 2,500 miles for me!), I have an evo RoadKing (same engine) and I love her.....

as for mods...check out if the seat is 'standard' or aftermarket....cheapest upgrade is to have a gel pad fitted - there's a guy advertises in Back Street Heroes, who's name escapes me who does good work, If you post a query in the Tech Threads someone will remember...

part from that - keep her clean and tidy, they rust oh how they rust if you don't keep on top of it....

try and get along to your local meets, or if you feel like getting 'stuck in' come and join us at the Winter Party at Llangollen, its very civilised, no sleeping bags or tents to pack up....

Welcome by the way!
