The reason we came second was that we are used to rowing in clean rivers and not liking the stench of the polluted Thames

Trust me, when you get upstream to Oxford you don't get your oare stuck in the remains of last nights kebab or a tramps sleeping bag. What you do have to do in Oxford is mind out for all the stupid punts! (yes i did say punts, but the other word suits just aswell).
