Unfortunately this is all too true. My son has cannabis induced psychosis, permanent and entirely debilitating. His life is ruined.

Re: Legalise cannabis petition

Sorry to hear that Liz. As I said I see too much of it these days. This last ten years has in my experiance seen a big increase in the problem. Children in primary schools are being found using cannabis. Peeing about with re-classification caused very mixed messages. On the whole the government has put an effort into tackling the problem but far too many of our youngsters are being damaged by drugs the most common of which is cannabis.

Re: Legalise cannabis petition

I have no problem with cannabis researched and prescribed for medicinal use.

But the leaves we used to chill on once upon a time have been bred and hybridised into some real mind bending stuff. Not all cannabis is the same.

While some may be able to handle it, for many, and certainly for those pre-disposed to mental conditions.......it can do their heads in .

I ask my kids not to smoke cannabis and on that basis, abstain myself.

Re: Legalise cannabis petition

LETS BE VERY CAREFUL HERE PLEASE.

By Tony Cross not quoting properly as per here:

The top two lines are from SX 150 but Tony has not closed the quote hence mis quoting from others!

Both willy warmer and Liz have quoted the above statement and it comes across as if it was written by SX 150 which it wasn't.

This is a very strong feeling and in some cases very sad thread so PLEASE when quoting a poster make sure you preview your post first before posting otherwise all sort of trouble could arise by misquoting!

Re: Legalise cannabis petition

Sorry about any confusion that may have been caused. With hindsight I can see that it would have been wise to have added quote marks. At the time it looked clear. SX I hope that you are not in anyway offended.

Re: Legalise cannabis petition

Tony, Liz and Willy warmer I have edited all the misquotes:-)

Tony when you want to use part of someone's quote still hit the quote button and just leave what you want in there remembering to leave the begining and end [/quote]
