This weekend is one of the big bank holiday weekends of the year here, Memorial day. The traditional holiday that starts the summer. Well into the dry season. Well...........It`s been raining for the last twelve hours, a steady drizzle. Remember the pics I posted the other day of the high peaks? Snow at that altitude! Very, very unusual. Not done this for donkeys years.
Big recreation area all around us, probably thousands of people camping..........Or trying.
Got a new Bagger from work so Kat & I could bugger off for a few days.....Weekend in front of the tele now.

We did get a nice house plant on sale though

Watch out when you are having some on-line craic with Baz...It`ll end up on here. Glad we had our clothes on.

were gonna have a day at the seaside tomorrow
a nice ride down to Margate. for an Ice cream.
but rain has stopped play for us too.
so I`m gonna have to spend the day in the pub
slurping various real ales and having a roast beef and yorkie pud dinner

I'm sat in a damp field in Somerset where it chucked it down all night and has only just stopped. I've got trench foot and webbed toes, but you won't find me complaining, oh no, not me.........

Looking forward to me slippers when I get home (I didn't take the Ultra Glide with me)........
