American Iron subscription

I was paid up untill feb 2009 and I did not get the june issue so i just phoned to check my subscription only to be told that they have cancelled overseas subscriptions.
Was told that i will get a refund to my credit card.

Apparently the economy is heading down fast over there and it is getting too expensive to ship overseas.

anyone else had a problem.

A few years back I too had a subscription to American Iron. About half way through the year my mags stopped arriving. On contacting them I was also told that they were stopping overseas subscriptions!!!

I've heard other tales about how the mag treats overseas subscribers.

I agree with Baza, use the Magazine Man.

I have a 3yr subscription about 2yrs through. Brilliant mag. First I have heard of any problem. I have the June edition; July should be here any time. I will keep in touch on this one.

Just looked at Baza's link. Works out at 12 months for the price of 36 months. Hope I don't have to go down that route.

Interesting, I had a subscription up to 3 months ago and I let it slide.
They have written to me every month since asking me to renew. The latest letter came today!

I went on their website this week to sign-up and noticed no facility for outside USA and Canada. Emailed them and they replied no overseas subscriptions anymore.

£4.70 per issue from The Magazine Man could be a bit too rich for me. Mind you very good mag, should I think again?

Really p-ssed off... one of the best HD biased magazine is pulling out of the foreign subscription market due to rising costs.

Gutted... it was the hightlight of my sad little life getting that mag, it was my only reason to have a bath once a month whether needed or not...

Great website though, very much like the format of this one...
