| A question for Ebayers......... ........I was biding on an item and someone in the bidding is being listed as "private listing - bidders' identities protected". Can someone tell me what this mean in Ebay terms, and why would someone have their identities protected?

'Lo It sounds as if the listing is 'private'. This means the item doesn't show on the winning buyer's feedback page after the auction finishes, and you aren't able to see who your competitors are during the bidding process.
