getting bored now

im sorry peeps but bin reading posts all across this site now and im sorry to say im getting a bit bored now with all of the negative comments and gripes to other people on this site!!!

when i joined this club a few months ago i really enjoyed logging on to the site looking at all of the new posts and all of the banter that went along with it and thats why i joined.

i know that i am just a newbie to the whole biking scene and dont know all the ins and out/wats right and wats wrong but i do know that im here to enjoy myself, meet new people and enjoy different parts of the country when i ride up to rallies.

so wat im really trying to say is at the mo it feels the club has lost its way and nobody seems to be having fun anymore so can we please get back to how things used to be.

rant over now take care peeps and keep your rubber side down

Re: getting bored now

Here goes with a different perspective from a newbie - and not a club member (just had the site recommended to me by a member) - so feel free to ignore the following.

I've had a good poke about (oo-err Missus ) on the various boards, and it seems a lot more friendly than an awful lot of forums.

It's not been the greatest of summers, plus times are hard for most dosh-wise, and a lot of people on various forums and in - shock horror - real conversations seem to be pretty peeved as a result.

Finally, you get out of anything in life only what you put into it. All groups, clubs, whateverelses, have peaks and troughs, good times and not-so-good, it's the nature of things. I'd say stick with it, have a good time and don't worry about perceived negativity (I haven't seen much of it on here - although, yes, I am very new here). If you make the effort to have a good time, don't sweat it about anything else.

Of course, I could just be talking a load of ball-cocks (wouldn't be the first time).

Blame the weather.
Everyone's p*ssed off.
The vintage flying scene is the same--mud, mud, mud--wet feet etc etc and grey skies.

Re: getting bored now

Pastryman only a third of the club if that use the site so like other people you are not getting the correct image of the club.

The two rallies I have met you at New Forest and Oswestry we had a great craic!

Your pending ban must be pissing you off mate and like the other stuff you have read he also was not felling too good due to his ups and down illnesses.

Shame you started this here as again it could 'all go off again' and certain people could use this thread as another knock against our club and website.

Never mind too late now.

Re: getting bored now

ride out the storm pastyman, i usually feel like not renewing my membership at least a couple times a year for the same reason, but just remember things typed never come out the right way or are taken the wrong way.
Or even some people seem like right old moaners, but when you meet em in real life they are the best, infact i hav`nt found anybody i dont like on here yet, there have been the odd one or two when you first read their posts you might think ( insert your own words here) but after a while you get to know thats just them being them no more no less infact you get to respect em for it.
right thats it from this sad old git for now

Ralph

This is a website and not 'the club' - just have a look at the names who are uptight --- they are not 'the club', some some are members of the club and some are members of the website. A very very very small minority of website users.
I don't know about 'nobody' but I quite enjoy myself on here. However a small part of it is boring and very low quality bollocks according to my bolloxometer
