Summer is officialy over; or is it?

I've just spent the evening sewing name tapes on my youngest's school shirts, trousers, shorts, blazer etc..

As I do this every year, it reminds me that summer is behind us and the nights are beginning to draw in.

Term starts on Wednesday for us, now watch the weather improve.

So what summer would that be then? As i am sat here in the Aussie winter which to be frank is definately not as wet and only around 4-5 degrees colder im wondering

......I don't know what you're all complaining about; the British summer wasn't that bad, after all, it only rained twice; once from the 13th may to 24th July and again from the 26th of July to the 1st of September.

Well, due to rather crappy personal circumstances, I've hardly ridden at all this (alleged) summer.

On the flipside though, as the bike has to live in the yard (albeit under a heavy-duty cover), it'll still suffer whether it's ridden or not, so it's gonna be on with the waterproofs, bladder the bugger in FS365 and get out and have a bleedin' good time

Looks as though it will continue to p-ss down until at least Monday.

Still, it almost feels like I'm at home, where it can start raining on a Tuesday and keep going until Monday!!
