Curbishley

Curbishley resigns

Another manager not being allowed to manage. The board sell players under his nose, he has been a success at WEST HAM, but too much board inteference, selling Mc Cartney and Ferdinand against his wishes. A real pity

Slaven Bilic favourite to take on this poison chalice

Re: Curbishley

Would this be a football thing? Must be, he's too ugly to be a soap star. Usually I find the people that make the front pages of the newspapers that I don't recognise fall into one or other category.

Perhaps I should pay more attention to soapball and foot, NOT.

Blimey, it's a wonder they win any games if they've got old Thumbs Aloft playing for them, then I realised it must be Stella.

Re: Curbishley

Mmmm, as a Hammers fan I am dismayed if players are being sold against his wishes and two wins out of three games is a good start! That is the trouble with football these days I'm afraid the money and greed have ruined the game. Down here in Devon everyone is making a fuss because the new Argyle signing is on £10k a week but that would be chickenfeed in the premiership. I work my behind off for £16K a YEAR and that is set to go down unless I win my job evaluation appeal. I appreciate a footballer has a shorter shelf life than many careers but the pay is over the top and when there are people all over the world struggling to make ends meet and buy a house and even starving to death, I think it's time this obscene market place was shut down and wages capped at a sensible level. It really has turned me off the game.
