Seasick Steve

Did anyone else hear Seasick Steve on Marc Radcliffe tonight?

I bought the album 'Dog House Music' a fortnight ago and have been wearing the laser out listening to the CD, what a great set of songs he laid out in the studio but live tonight on Radio 2 he was just stompin'. Those three strings were getting a damn good workout!

I'm going to have to try and work out how to listen again on the BBC iPlayer whilst at the same time recording the tunes he played. Anyone wanting an Mp3 of tonights live tracks let me know and I'll PM ye a link once I got it sorted.

PS. Anyone else yet noticed the resemblance between our Pres and Seasick Steve?

Re: Seasick Steve

I'd go for that MP3 Thang.
Now you come to mention the Seasick Steve and the Prez similarity had occurred to me, but I'm struggling with the alliteration.

Re: Seasick Steve

Went to see him about 7-8 months ago, the man's a star, one of the best gigs I've seen for years.
Just him his guitar and his wooden box.

Re: Seasick Steve

Hmmm, it is quite a fair resemblence ain't it?

Wonder if he needs a body double; then again so might I after the Reps' Meeting!

Re: Seasick Steve

If anyone has any pointers on the best audio ripper for macs I'd be much in appreciation.

Can't yet find a program that'll rip the BBC iPlayer

I'll post up a link to audio downloads of his live performance as soon as I get the files on my drive

Thanks Jon - look forward to that.

Heard a Radio 4 prog about him the other week. Seems he has bought a house in Norfolk
