P,s,a..test

I was listening to Max Clifford on the radio earlier ,he mentioned prostate cancer which was diagnosed in 2007.Now he recomends the P,S,A blood test maybe twice a year for all guys 50 and over ,this is what saved him with early diagnosis.Worth thinking about asking your doctors guys it is the biggest cancer killer of men ,he had no symptoms but was suffering an enlarged prostate ,,,,
Anyway dont dont die of embarrassment get and have a chat with the Doc
If just one guy in thousands read this and got treated early then its worth the time to type ...
Stay lucky

Tony,

I was also listening to Max on Steve Wright and you've hit the nail on the head. Prevention is better than cure - it's a bit like Ultraseal for your rectum...

PS good to see you at Warr's on Sunday.

Re: P,s,a..test

Have the test but don't believe all they tell you.
I had it 5yrs. ago, the consultant's stand in said
" your PSA is high I'd better do a biopsy right now"
No anaesthetic 6 lumps taken out of prostate, OUCH.

5 yrs. later I went to a different hospital for more tests
and it was the same bloke, he was now the consultant.
When questioned he admitted he did do it for the experience. (tosser)
He then suggested that he operated on my prostate, I told him to
sod off and practice on someone else first.
My next appointment has come through with a different consultant,

Another learner ?

Re: P,s,a..test

One man dies every half an hour of prostate cancer!!

Every man would die of prostate cancer if they diddn't suffer another illness,

Re: P,s,a..test

It may not be cancer, it may just be enlarged, but
if you don't keep it under control you can go into retention
and end up with a catheter and bag.

Solves the problem of peeing when riding though.
