| Bad Englishman
OK, so I’m a Bad Englishman I Am the Liberal-Progressives Worst Nightmare I am an Englishman I am a Master Mason and believe in God I ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles and but also believe in English products I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some Liberal governmental functionary be it Labour or Conservative! I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way! I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything. Get over it! I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, do it in English I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to? My heroes are Winston Churchill, Admiral Nelson, Ian Botham, and obviously Willie G. Davidson I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time watching or arguing about it I've never owned a slave, or was a slave, I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you! So, stop going on about it I believe if you don't like the way things are here, go back to where you came from and change your own country! This is England .We like it the way it is! If you were born here and don't like it you are free to move to any Socialist country that will have you I also think the cops have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what colour you are And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my driver’s license, I have nothing to hide I think it's good.... And I'm proud, that the Queen is on my money I think if you are too stupid to know how a election works, I don't want you deciding who should be running one of the world’s most powerful nations in the world for the next four years I dislike those people standing in the street trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making 'donations' to their cause. Get a Job and do your part! I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyers think, or trys to make us think If this makes me a BAD Englishman, then yes, I'm a BAD Englishman and proud to be one

I am of the view it's best to ignore people like you. But I thought I'll mention this. As powerful as Britain might be it's not a good country for children to grow up! Nearly bottom of the list just in front of a few poor eastern european countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania and Malta). Happiest European children in Netherlands Maybe you should think again.

Happiness is subjective and how do you measure it? I think the young in this country are not unhappy - they are discontented. They want it all now - they have no concept of saving and waiting......they want all the consumables and will claim to be unhappy as they do not have a Wii or an X Box and so on. However, most are well fed, clothed, and have a roof over their heads........ Just my 2 pennorth

This is what it's based on AND it's British research. The table, focusing on youngsters aged up to 19, was compiled by researchers at York University in northern England for the Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG) using data mainly from 2006. The researchers assessed the countries using 43 separate criteria, ranging from infant mortality and obesity to factors such as poverty and housing. ///////////////// Anyway here's the whole article LONDON (AFP) – The happiest children in Europe are in the Netherlands and Scandinavia but Britain is among the worst places to grow up, according to new British research published Tuesday. A league table of young people's wellbeing places the Netherlands top of 29 European states, followed by Sweden and Norway, while Britain comes in at a lowly 24th. Germany was eighth, France was 15th and Britain was ranked only above Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania and Malta. The Netherlands scored high in all categories, while the Scandinavians were praised for having a low level of child deaths caused by accidents. Scandinavian children also indulge in less "risky behaviour" -- which the researchers categorised as early sexual intercourse, smoking and drinking -- than their European counterparts. Norway was top in the provision of housing and the "quality of neighbourhoods." CPAG said the low ranking of Britain, despite its position among the world's leading economies, was "particularly influenced by the high number of children living in families where no parent works." The British government said it had made progress on child wellbeing since 2006, but CPAG urged it to include child-friendly measures in Wednesday's Budget announcement as the economic downturn leads to higher unemployment. CPAG chief executive Kate Green said: "We cannot afford a 'do nothing' Budget for children. The report shows a clear link between high levels of child wellbeing and low levels of child poverty. "If we fail to protect families during the downturn, progress on child wellbeing could go into reverse." Overall ranking: 1. Netherlands 2. Sweden 3. Norway 4. Iceland 5. Finland 6. Denmark 7. Slovenia 8. Germany 9. Ireland 10. Luxembourg 11. Austria 12. Cyprus 13. Spain 14. Belgium 15. France 16. Czech Republic 17. Slovakia 18. Estonia 19. Italy 20. Poland 21. Portugal 22. Hungary 23. Greece 24. United Kingdom 25. Romania 26. Bulgaria 27. Latvia 28. Lithuania 29. Malta

Maybe its because parents dont bring their kids up the correct way, maybe its because we have too much of a 'sponger' society in GB, maybe its because kids these days are not taught right from wrong...and of course its always somebody elses fault,is'nt it? Im not the biggest fan of GB,I can tell you, having said that it cant be that bad seeing as half of Europe (and the world) seem to want to get here,(bypassing lots of other countries on route).

Ask yourself why people come here from all over the world to live, have a family and give thanks that they have been lucky enough to have had that chance to give their kids the best start to life.
