| Jools & Dave Edmunds
The cancellation of the Lincs rally wasn't the disaster I thought it was. I went to see Jools Holland and his band at Thetford Forest Centre instead, and with him was DAVE EDMUNDS. Jools is always great to see & hear, and Dave? Well, that man can play, and his voice is standing the test of time. WOW WOW WOW There's a silver lining in every dark cloud. I've even sat through a Joe Brown concert/sing-a-long/jamboree recently, just because Dave Edmunds was his guest. Dave showed he could still cut it, Joe was a treat for the over 60's.

I booked to see Eric Clapton some years ago, only to find when I got there that Joe Cocker was singing for him and the support was ZZ Top. Sometimes you just get more than you bargained for. Both Dave Edmunds and Nick Lowe are still top British musos. Jools is fabulous. Glad your weekend was saved!
