Ved

Was looking to change my car for something a bit sporty like an older BMW 325 Convertible. Nearly fell off the feckin chair when I checked the road tax after 2010....£425 a year
The puchase was meant to go some way to mend my broken heart (cue violins)......nearly gave me a feckin heart attack!

Re: Ved

Wasn't old enough then.
Get a pre 2001 car and it stays on the old rate.If you're going for quality then age shouldn't be a problem, there's shed loads out there.BMW won't give a used warranty over 60k miles so they're all out there with FSH and no showroom markup.

so you were shown that a broken heart isn't as painful as a heart attack
makes you wonder what is cheaper a flash motor or a woman

Re: Ved

Keep the car you've got, Keep the Harley and add a CCM R30 or even better, a KTM Duke. Your heart will be skipping with delight, oh and I wanna go of it if you get one.

Re: Ved

if you really must buy a hairdressers motor buy a Merc, cheap as chips to run and easy to work on in the unlikely event it breaks down, BMWs need a scientist to repair even minor faults...

women however are expensive ,breakdown every few weeks and have major faults as standard, mine has an intermittent problem with her gub...
