Re: Do you guys have Road Glides in the UK?

Another one we don't seem to have here is the street glide trike. The 2010 model looks like a bigger version of the servicar. Very nice.

Funny thing. When the trikes were released at the Dealer Show, most of us in the business scoffed at them.......They`ll never sell!

Can`t keep them in stock, selling like hot cakes!

We wish the other models did the same.

Phil, I assume you're in the states. Are you selling the Road Glides at your dealership? I'm wondering how the new 2010 FLTRX Road Glide custom is selling.

Street Glides & Road Glides, pretty much sell them as fast as we get them.
Very Popular in California.

Just out of curiosity, Phil; are the trikes selling to the more, ahem, mature rider?

If so, I wonder if it's perhaps a weight issue, the bikes I mean not the riders!

A dressed Glide is a bloody heavy thing to push around, is it the case perhaps that the trikes are more manageable?

Re: Do you guys have Road Glides in the UK?

Absolutely correct Kev.

The average buyer is a long time rider that is old enough to find it difficult handling a big touring bike, & still wanting to `get out there.`

We have also sold several to some disabled people. One that had lost his leg several years ago in a motorcycle accident, & now felt able to tackle the road again.

I am no trike lover, but to be honest most trikes are just a kit thrown onto the back of a stock bike.

The Harley one having been engineered to be a Trike is night & day different. Still a trike, but at least it handles reasonably.

Feel the yearning for a Trike coming on Kev?
