New Word - Good or Bad?

It's the kids that seem to have the monopoly on new words. At the moment my two are calling everything "SHAN", apparently it means rubbish or crappy, as in,
"Dad stop yer singin', It's shan!"

Another one was when they were young, they called that slimy skin underneath a roast chicken "Shlurmey" it kinda describes it quite nicely I think.

But by far the worse was the other day when I heard my eldest (who' just started secondary school by the way) shout out to someone she didn't like on the phone in her room, "You bucket full of festering cock snot!" I'll leave that one to your own imaginations!!
I'm glad her mum didn't hear that one!!
