New words occur all the time. Whether through an alteration of existing words or phrases, oe whether through product/advertising! If you had the chance to bring a new word to the english speaking public, what would it be, how would you pronounce it, (good or bad), what would be its meaning? happy. sad, go away, come here, etc etc Let the creative juices flow...................................... "Snetch" Pronounced s-n-e-t-c-h a rudimentary drawing of a female's front botty. Usage:- "It was the weirdest looking clout I've ever seen, look I've made a snetch of it". The derivation of snetch is the amalgamation of the words snatch and sketch

You have to remember Tony that the explanation needs to be understood south of Sheffield where they are of a more delicate nature. You will notice that the example of usage however utilises the northern word "clout" instead.

How about 'McSnacky' - these are the caravans parked in the lay-bys of our green and pleasant land offering succour, grease and botulism to the slightly peckish traveller..... ![]()
