Its fair to say, and it already has, that Sharia Law does advocate such punishment.

The irony of the original statement is that there appears to be a reluctance to allow foreigners in to UK (and indeed to have them ejected) for all sorts of reasons however their approach to crime and subsequent punishment would appear to be acceptable.
