Smile I love my Buell

Just thought i would start a thread about how much us buellers love our bikes.

As for me, well today is the first time i have ridden it for a while and i must say i love it to bits, last time i used it for commuting was back in november, the tyres were squared off and it was running like a bag o'shite

New tyres were fitted at the end of Jan (avon Storms- they are fantastic) and on monday night i fitted a new set of plugs again!

As those of you on the UKBEG site may know i changed the plugs when i gave it a 5k service back in october and made the mistake of going for posh ones (tripple platinum split jobbies) and ever since its ran like a complete dog, nice set of stock NGK's in on Monday night and this morning the bike was running sweet, new tyres were helping it drop into every corner i pointed it at, i had forgotten how well it handles for a big bike, lofted the front end by complete accident a couple of times and people looked unhappy as i rode passed them making loads of noise at 7am due to me removing the baffles from the remus pipe. It was bloody great

Its great to be back on the Buell after 3 months of riding a 250cc scooter into London

Re: I love my Buell

Nice one

I did about 400 miles or so at the weekend going over to Merseyside and then onto the wwp in wales & back again

It was fab riding it for so long and even though I ached a bit with having a rucksack on I could have carried on riding for ages

Luuuuuuuurv it

Commuted to W1 for 2 1/2 years on a Suzuki Burgman AN 650. Hate to admit it, but it was brilliant in all weathers and fair turn of speed to. roll along happily at 100 mph.

Didnt look too bad either

If I had to commute again, I'd go for one...

Used to commute in to town,Suzuki GS's, Yam Xj's-XV's-XS's,Kwak's Ect for 25yrs till i got comp van.
but if i had to go back i'd have to get a twist and go, they must be a cheaper option.
Still keep the tassle tractor and the Buell though.
