Ulysses seat

Thinking of taking the plunge and getting a Ulysses after seeing Helmetbolt's at Walesby.
If I bought a 2007 model with the lower seat, how freely available is the earlier seat? I'm a lanky sod.

Also, is there such thing as a footpeg lowering kit like they do for GSs?

I bet this has been asked before and I should do a search...blah, blah.....but I'm just about tyo go out on the piss!

Hi Gary.
Nice to meet you at Walesby. The footpegs are pretty low to start with. I have a 38" inside leg and never feel cramped on the even the longest rides. The seats come up on ebay all the time. They are usually pretty cheap as they get changed for lower ones by our vertically challenged brethren

Helmetbolt, when I eventually get one of these things I'll be constantly picking your brains.....you might regret telling me how good the Ulysses is!
