a different battery problem

the Odyssey battery on my X1 has started to partially melt
heat transfer from the rear exhaust manifold , causing the top cover to lift
as the X1 battery lies on it's side , so the top is close to the exhaust
made an ali bracket , which is clear of the terminals ,to hopefully deflect the heat

we shall see..

looking through some old pictures
the original HD battery top sits behind the cross bar
the Odyssey is in front 10mm difference
worth thinking about if you need an X1 battery
