Custom Bikes Coventry Transport Museum

From the Coventry Transport Museum Website,
http://www.transport-museum.com/news...aspx?newsid=79

'Head down to Coventry Transport Museum this winter to see a fantastic collection of custom motorcycles between 12th December and 22nd January. Starting with the basics these amazing machines are customised every step of the way, with fantastic artwork and every individual part customised to look different to standard manufactured bikes.

The bikes are being loaned to the Museum by top UK customising teams including Destiny Cycles from Yorkshire, Hawg Haven from Norwich and The Trike Shop from Cardiff. Amongst the collection are bikes belonging to ‘By Any Means’ star Charley Boorman and two specially commissioned choppers for TV celebrity chefs, The Hairy Bikers. '

Steve Bagley, Head of Collections at the Museum said:
“We’ve got some spectacular bikes and are really excited about the exhibition. These magnificent machines are works of art in their own right and will amaze everyone, not just motorcycling enthusiasts. It’s going to be a wonderful exhibition for people to enjoy over Christmas and the New Year.”

The exhibition will be at the Museum for a limited time only, making it a ‘must see’ for the winter period.

The Museum is open every day (excluding 24th – 26th December and 1st January) from 10am until 5pm. For further details please visit our website: Coventry Transport Museum or call 024 7623 4270.

Well, they have added Mediteranean food since I last went so by the time we go, Mexican food could well be on the menu

MYO Resturant - Indian, Chinese, Thai and Meditteranean Cuisine

Had a look round today. Great bikes there and clips from Easy Rider.

The rest of the museum is well worth a look too. There is some B&W film of ton up boys in the vintage bike section.
