Ride Out, Sunday 12th April to Sywell.

As mentioned at last nights meeting we're planning a ride out this Sunday to Sywell aerodrome between Northampton and Kettering. It's an interesting place, plenty of air traffic, a free museum, a bar and the pilots mess cafe reopens for the summer this weekend so decent food available for those who want it. Afterwards we ride back via Kettering, Mkt Harborough and Leicester.
I shall leave from the Lime Kilns pub on the A5 at Hinckley at 10.30ish and i imagine the boys from Coventry will meet at the Texaco garage on the A45 near Bagginton at a similar time with a view to meeting at the services at Weedon on the A5 around 11.30 and then on to Sywell.
If anyone wants to meet at Hinckley could you let me know and i'll wait, also if anyone intends to come could you post on this thread.
According to the met office its going to be a nice sunny day but it is easter!.
If the weather is really s**t we can postpone until Monday.
It would be great to see everyone along so Paul you ought to bring Heidi with you.
Pete, i can't find any info on the Tiger Moth flights but the Harvard has to be booked in advance at a cost of £295.00 inc vat for an hour.
I look forward to seeing you all, it should be fun. ( weather permitting)

Pity about the Harvard. Hoping to re enact the Battle of Midway with the local sailing club.

As I mentioned last Wednesday, Andy in Beds has something to do with Old Warden so that would be another good venue.

I'm watching your thread Zed but I am in the hands of family matters as to wether I can get out for a ride or not. Heiidi and I might be around on Monday but you guys must go ahead and do something if the weather is OK.

Hi Paul, We turned left at the crossroads for Oadby and Alan turned behind me so i thought everyone was together. We waited for 10 minutes about a mile down the road thinking you were caught at the lights. I'm glad everyone got home safely and thank you all the guys who turned up. Must do it again soon.
