Ok all you Region Niners out there let's have some comments on this lot please. there have been a few calls for the badge to be redesigned so here are a few ideas based on the route 66 badge.

Re: badge design

OK, first badge/ tshirt desinge Try change the letters HDRCGB to Central Mercia.
If it is to go on a black tshirt you will have to change the colour of the out line. could try Orang
Good idea useing the club roundel, it may get the main committees approvel.

Good Man

Re: badge design

Hi Tee / Alan,

I'm a new region niner, went to my first mtng at the Royal Oak on 8th April and received a warm welcome from everyone there on the night. Have a 883L Sportster (currently sitting in my living room!) and hoping to join in on some ride outs when I've got my 'Harley' legs !!

Love the badge ideas, have had a (very poor) attempt at creating 'Central Mercia' in a logo style format as an idea for your designs along with a fun tag line ... hope you don't mind? Please tell me to butt out if you do!

Look forward to meeting you both in due course

Cheers
Jain (AKA Muddypaws)

Re: badge design

Two more for your appraisal:

BTW just in case you don't know. the background of these two designs are related to the old flag of Mercia

I don't think that anyone has a problem with somebody putting their ideas forward about anything in our region, That's why we have a meeting. BTW - good idea but I think the strap line is a little 'off track' if you know what I mean, but then others might like so what the heck.

Re: badge design

One more before I have another coughing fit

This might be a bit more to the liking of our esteemed rep Especially as the background is the old flag of Mercia

Re: badge design

Yes I love it, but we are members of H.D.R.C.G.B. not a Region 9 outlaw
band of bikers. I think it would be ok on a rally tshirt though.
Tee's design with the club roundel is the one I think we should go with and
most likely be acceptd by the club

Re: badge design

Couple of things for Badge design consideration.
No alteration of any trademark
Also any time you use HDRCGB it must be H-DRCGB - no extra dots and not without the hyphen.

Enjoy the designing.

Re: badge design

Well here are a couple more that shouldn't offend any trade mark rules, even thought the badge is based on a US cop shield so I don't see how that can be trade marked or copyrighted. Still.........

NB: Thanks for the encouragement Sue. I remember you 'encouraging' me and my mate Shadwell to clean up the bar for you at Oz one year. Hmmmm If you see him at Talgarth tell appologise for me but my sister, who he knows well, is in hospital so I won't be there I'm afraid.

Re: badge design

....... and one final one for the day I think. It's not meant to be a backpatch or anything like it btw. I just think it just reminds me of the band t-shirts for the black rebels motorcycle club. I have other ideas that might get aired tomorrow, who knows?
