Spares shops advice please

Evenin' all, i'm needing a few items for my ironhead sporty and as i've not been riding a while, the shop I used to go to in Leamington Spa has shut down. Where can I get normal stuff from like cables, oil, filters and the like? (without having my wallet emptied by main dealers)
I'm on the oxfordshire/warwickshire border, cheers chaps and chapesses

Re: Spares shops advice please

I hope you are not referring to Motorcycle World Leamington Spa. Very handy for me and a good source of H-D parts.

You could try Geoff at Cycle Enterprises
Unit 8, Willow Park Industrial Estate,
Upton Lane, Stoke Golding,
Nuneaton, Warwickshire CV13 6EU
Tel: 01455 213007

Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Dont know in your area but you could try Heide at THS in Castleford 01977 518886. She does mail order. Used to be The Harley Shop a few years ago when bikes like yours (and mine) were new.

Cheers for the quick responces people. It was little shops for bikers I used to used in Leamimgton Spa, a veritable emporium it was once you got past the clothes and gaudy coloured helmets at the front of the shop, no more I understand. I got a lot of stuff from a place called southern cycles as well in the 80's, now also gone. I'll give the castleford one a try, I went there years ago as well.

Stoke Golding's not a million miles either, cheers again

Second both of the above recommendations. Geoff @ Cycle Enterprises speaks pretty fluent Ironhead so is also useful for tech queries. His shop is in the old railway goods shed at Stoke Golding.

Motorcycle World on the Rugby Road Leamington (opposite St Mark's church, along from Lockwoods) was still open a couple of weeks ago. They stock a vast selection of parts that Dave behind the counter knows his way around.

I have known Geoff for many years (Goes Back to the 60's-70's School Days especially Higham Lane high School Nuneaton) and he is a top bloke. He used to work at Barwell Harley before HD wielded the big stick and the owner said stuff it and became a Triumph dealer.

Geoff's place is like a kids candy store for bikers.
