Crackin Time !!

Hey Gang,

Hope everyone got back safe and sound, and of course duly refreshed after the particularly relaxing weekend!

Big thanks to all for a fab turnout, great company, and makin it a crackin weekend all round and particularly to:

Paul (CovKid) - For the entertainment ... nice 'Dad' dancing mate
Pete - For the impromptu naturist show ... no further comment!
Sylv & Alan - For the chilli water-dogs ... scrummy
Tee - Ever thought of singing as a career? ... Perhaps not eh?

Just don't mention tyre pressures to Alan tho!

The weekend started with me being attacked by the angriest duck in the world



It then cost me a fortune in T-shirts, Coke and food



And finished off with me being made to drink too much and associate with a dubious man in a mohican wig



All in all - a cracking time out...but bugger me, was I a mess yesterday!

I agree Muddypaws, a really good laugh and the very best of company. You forgot to mention Crew59 getting legless on cider and looking like he needed shooting for his own sake the next morning. Its a shame some left on Sunday so there wasn't that much time that we all spent together as a region, but then again they got there on the Friday. I reckon we should co-ordinate it better next time.

Also a shame we didn't get to camp together although the woods worked a treat for me.

We did have a cracking time, some of us were there Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
We enjoyed our free chip butties in the pub on sat afternoon, the company was great.

Hopefully Me, Heidi, Tom and his partner Mel are going. Tom lives in Braintree which is on the way.

I'd rather have the mick taken for singing than Dad dancing!

When are you thinking of heading up Tee?

Was thinking of going from School on the Friday but if you were heading down we could meet up somewhere en route.Friday or Saturday, doesn't really matter that much.

I still haven't got a tent yet so I might be taking the old German army bag and a tarpaulin to keep the rain off

I've been looking forward to the Essex Poker Run but now I can only make Friday to Saturday and that's only if I can get out of a business trip to Kazakhstan.

Only Friday to Saturday? That's all it is really. You should remember from last year mate. I have to come back on the Sunday, pretty early really. I have to leave by lunchtime at the latest so I can get some stuff done for work on the Monday.

Be great if you could make it though Pete. Keep us updated on the Kazakhstan thing.
