Xmas 2006

I have noticed that several of the other regions have there own Xmas bash each year and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in having a region get together sometime around the festive period?
Obviously we would have to confirm numbers(partners and friends included)
and agree a venue,maybe accomodation for some,and most importantly,a person or persons to organise things.
Just a thought.

Yes thank you - we had a fab time

we ate
goat
river eel
clams
hake
wild boar
goat cheese with walnuts and honey
lots of algarve sausage and cold meats

and drank
Portugese beer
rum
medronho
brandy
gin
cherry brandy
malibou
port
green wine
red sangria
white sangria
almond liquor
fig liquor
bica (Portugese expresso)
and lots of water cause it was hot

and we climbed a mountain - Piccotta
went up the west coast of Algarve to Alentejo
went to a huge dam in Alentejo called Santa Clara
had cappucino in a Pousada - very posh Portugese hotel
had a barbeque
walked round the cliffs on the south coast of Portugal
sat and watched the sunset at Cape St Vicent - the most south west point of Europe

and took 300 photos

but we are both looking forward to the next Central South meeting
