Sorry to hear of the Oxford woes. Here in Thatcham we have much the same, floods on biblical proportions on Friday. Raging torrents down many of the streets. Fortunately as a family we were up in sunny Scarborough for the weekend at our daughter’s graduation so missed all the fun. Must admit to being very fortunate as the waters came to within a hundred meters of our house but didnt get any further before receding. Lots of work colleagues houses were flooded and cars damaged. Missed the floods, but our daughter came back with glandular fever, which makes her look like a cross between having been in fight (swollen eyes) and smoking 60 a day (very horse voice). Hopefully shell be on the mend soon. Hi to Oxtaff, Oxford chapter’s editor I presume?
