Thumbs down Scrubbed--Ride out.

Hello everyone.
I pulled my sorry backside from my pit at 05.30 this morning and it's now 07.30 and I've been drinking coffee and watching the rain land on the conservatory roof ever since.

I therefore reluctantly think we that we should scrub this.
Suffolk is a lovely county but looks better on a dry day and the roads won't be much fun either.
If anyone is interested I can re-schedule this at a later date.
The roads will still be there.

I'm bit fed up as I've spent a bit of time on this.
Ho-hum...

Andy

All your work is not wasted Andy as you say the roads will always be there.

Even I got up early for this. So back to bed for me, and wait for the newspaper to be delivered.

Don't be disheartened. Another day mate.

BTW pissing down in Shagford as well I'm pleased you shelved it.

Re: Scrubbed--Ride out.

Well, according to weather.co.uk it's raining here too, but I can't see it!

Shame about the ride out being cancelled as Andy definitely put lots of time into organising it and we were all looking forward to it. Another day perhaps.

We will probably still ride up to Black Bear later anyway - might as well see what's happening with the launch of the XR1200.

Weather for Newmarket says cloudy but dry from around 10am onwards ....

Re: Scrubbed--Ride out.

I live 16 miles from Newmarket and it's wet and miserable here right now. The roads don't look much fun. Another time then.

Andy,....I was talking to my mate last night about today, he rides one of those Kawasaki 1600 cruisers. He said that he would like to have ridden with us. Would he be able to ride with us next time we go out, or shouldn't I mention it to him again.

Brian.

Brian,
I think it's a great idea.
The more the merrier I say.
It'll increase the p*sstaking quotient I would think--if nothing else.

Baza, do you have a problem with that?
There was a couple on a Suzuki on the club rally ride out earlier in the Spring.
No one seemed to mind then.
A.
